While bathing in the river, Xie Qilang found the corpse of a beautiful woman.

He huffed and puffed as he dug a pit to bury her,

when the corpse suddenly came back to life.

It turned out she wasn't dead, but she'd hit her head and lost her memory. Worse, she was given to delusions:

She thought she was the daughter of a wealthy family and ordered him around, demanding this and that:

"Take good care of me. When my memory returns, my family will reward you handsomely."

"Buy me some pastries, and I'll reward you with a hundred taels someday."

"Pick me some mountain peaches, and I'll pay you back two hundred taels someday."

Xie Qilang swore to himself that once she got better, he'd tell her to get lost.

When she needed something, she called him Big Brother Xie. When she was annoyed, she called him a savage!

With a temper like that, even if she was beautiful, he wasn't going to wait on her.

Gu Xueqing was troubled. She remembered being born into a wealthy family, but Xie Qilang didn't believe her.

No matter how she threatened or tempted him, the hunter never treated her kindly.

He had rescued her, cared for her, and treated her, yet he was always cold to her and still wanted her gone.

It infuriated her. How could a bear of a hunter like him not be moved by a beauty as charming as her?

Later, Gu Xueqing regained her memory.

It turned out she was the daughter of Gu, the Imperial Academy's Director, and her husband was the Marquis of Ding'an.

The hunter escorted her home.

The day she returned was the very day the Marquis of Ding'an was marrying his new wife.

Only then did she learn that everyone thought she was dead, and her husband had wasted no time taking a new wife.

She was alive, but her husband's family said she was an impostor, while her own family said she had lost her chastity and deserved to die.

Gu Xueqing could no longer hold her head high. She wept until her face was streaked with tears.

At last the hunter's cold expression softened. "Don't cry. Marry me."

Only later did Gu Xueqing discover that the hunter was actually the retired "Idle Prince."

Coming soon: Her Highness's Little Flower Fool Ran Away

The Third Prince loved flowers.

Someone gave him a flower attendant.

She was born a little slow-witted and always a step behind everyone else.

She spoke slowly, worked slowly, smiled slowly, and even cried slowly,

but she was naturally gifted at tending plants, which earned her the name Little Flower Fool.

At first, the Third Prince paid her no mind, but gradually he noticed:

Rare flowers and plants that others struggled to keep alive flourished under her care.

The Third Prince began to find his gaze lingering on the Little Flower Fool:

It had nothing to do with romance. He was simply curious how she could be so in tune with the plants.

Later, the Third Prince was to marry.

The Little Flower Fool cultivated an auspicious flower.

The Emperor asked, "What reward would you like?"

After a long pause, everyone finally heard the Little Flower Fool answer slowly, "This servant wishes to leave the palace."

Without the Little Flower Fool, the Third Prince was beside himself.

Theme: Don't lose heart when faced with hardship. Strive forward, and a brighter future will come.
