A Cat's Unemployed Days in Bianjing

For some reason, I transmigrated to the Song Dynasty and got a card-drawing System. The catch was that I had to take in a bunch of cats that had been abandoned by their owners.

Me: Is there really such a good deal!?

After figuring out what the market needed, I decided to open a pet hospital in Kaifeng, Song Dynasty, where people were crazy about cats. Sure enough, business was good after opening...

Imperial Academy professor Huang Tingjian: "Autumn's here, and the mice at home are driving me crazy. I hear your cats are excellent mousers, so I've come to hire one."

When the cat belonging to Chancellor Cai Xiang went missing, he searched everywhere with government soldiers but found nothing, so he came to the pet hospital for help.

When the cat belonging to Vice Premier Wang Anshi fell ill, his wife heard that the veterinary doctors at the pet hospital were miracle workers and came to make an appointment.

When Su Shi heard about it, he condemned the cat-raising craze sweeping the capital. "People keep cats to catch mice. If there are no mice, you shouldn't keep a cat that won't catch them. What's the point of keeping a cat that can't catch mice?"

After that, everyone in Kaifeng heard that the pet hospital had put Grand Academician Su on its blacklist.

A golden finger business-and-farming story about raising cats in the Song Dynasty, told in third person.

Theme: Everyone has something they love. I alone love my cats.
