Cuddling Up to the Disabled Ice Beauty

[Obsessive, disabled dance prodigy & healing fashion designer] ★ Updates every other day at midnight. If I need to take a day off, I'll announce it in advance! ★ A woman in a wheelchair moved in next door to Lin Dian. Whenever they crossed paths, the woman's gloomy, icy stare made Lin Dian shiver. A few days later, Lin Dian confessed her feelings to Qiao Ting'an, whom she'd secretly loved for years, at the park. The rejection cut her to the quick. Right then, the woman rolled past in her wheelchair. Before Lin Dian knew what she was doing, she had grabbed the woman's wheelchair handles and was babbling incoherently: "Sis, you came to pick me up? Okay, okay, let's go home." Lin Dian pushed the woman away in a panic. At the park entrance, the woman pressed the brakes, her voice cold. "Let go." * Lu Baixing became famous at a young age, a rising star and a dance prodigy. A car accident left her disabled in both legs, turning her moody, gloomy, and irritable. Then one day, a young girl earnestly mended the torn hem of her skirt. "I'm really good with my hands. Once I mend it, it'll look even better than it did before." Lu Baixing watched her quietly. The girl really was good with her hands. She sewed clothes and made dolls for children at an orphanage, repaired toys filled with memories, and even designed and made beautiful, delicate clothes. She mended Lu Baixing's skirt and relit her world, too. * Lu Baixing always thought her love was obsessive and selfish, a despair so absolute it would destroy everything. Until she saw Lin Dian laughing and chatting side by side with Qiao Ting'an. When the girl came back, Lu Baixing's voice trembled. "Let go. Don't come looking for me again." But Lin Dian took her hand and looked up at her with an unblemished smile. "Really?" No... Lu Baixing's eyes reddened as she grabbed her hand tightly in return. It wasn't true. * The light named Lu Baixing was once five light-years away from me. One day, starlight will find its way into my arms. ★ Little Scene ★ "The holiday's coming. What do you want as a gift?" "Anything I want?" "Mm." Lin Dian smiled slyly. "Even a star?" Lu Baixing gently caressed her face, her fingertips coming to rest on her lips. "Sure. I'll give you one." "A Few Things to Know" 1. A healing story with a sweet tone, though it might get a little bittersweet now and then. 2. Five-year age gap. 3. I'll add more if I think of anything. Theme: Keep living, and you will always find hope.
