A Crush Has Its End

Nobody knew that the aloof, distinguished Lu Mingyan had humbled himself to enter Zhuo Cheng's circle of rich second-generation heirs for the sake of Zhuo Cheng's girlfriend, Yu Wangshu. Later, Zhuo Cheng cheats on her. On the day they break up, Yu Wangshu happens to receive a message from Lu Mingyan, and, as if under a spell, invites him over.

When the door opens, Yu Wangshu sees Lu Mingyan standing there in a sharp suit. His exceptionally handsome face is expressionless, and he looks both cold and abstinent. He parts his lips and says, "Miss Yu, if you change your mind now, it's not too late."

Lu Mingyan is cold, untamable, and distinguished, with a fortune to match. Of all Zhuo Cheng's friends, he's the hardest to approach.

Knowing he's someone she shouldn't provoke, Yu Wangshu tries to walk away after their reckless night together, but Lu Mingyan won't let her.

"Don't want to take responsibility?" Lu Mingyan throws off the covers and gets out of bed, giving her a cold look. His excellent physique is on full display before Yu Wangshu.

Faced with his reproach and the disarray of the bed behind him, Yu Wangshu falls unusually silent. "...So, what should I do?"

On another night, Lu Mingyan grips Yu Wangshu's slender waist with both hands and demands in a low voice, "When are you going to give me a proper title?"

Yu Wangshu closes her eyes and answers with deliberate perfunctoriness, "When the time is right."

Nobody knows that for more than ten years, he has stood behind her, trying to get closer and waiting in solitude.

He watched her date other people and let other men hold her in their arms. After learning that she was about to marry, he finally couldn't hold back.

She is his obsession, his deepest fantasy.
