A Rich Roommate Stole My Girlfriend

"She's such a schemer." "That makeup is so heavy." Wei Shang is a beauty at the center of campus gossip, and her reputation is terrible. You could even say she's infamous. Shi Ran always hears people around her talking about her roommate, and most of what they say is negative. But she doesn't think Wei Shang is all that bad. For example, when it's just the two of them in the dorm, Wei Shang gives her snacks, starts conversations, and even blows little bugs off her face. As far as Shi Ran is concerned, she's a pretty easy roommate to get along with. Even if Wei Shang doesn't seem to treat their other roommates the same way. Recently, though, Wei Shang has suddenly started keeping her distance. She doesn't say hello when they meet, or share snacks anymore. Shi Ran finds it strange, and is even a little upset. Then one night, downstairs in the dorm, she sees Wei Shang standing with an older student who has been pursuing her lately. Shi Ran hesitates, wondering whether she should say hello, when Wei Shang suddenly tears up and throws herself into Shi Ran's arms. "He bullied me." "..." Shi Ran narrows her eyes at the older student in the distance. What a jerk. Good thing she turned down his confession yesterday. Gradually, she realizes Wei Shang has another good quality: she can spot jerks at a glance. The men pestering Shi Ran become much less of a problem. But everyone else thinks she's a fool. "Are you stupid? She's obviously stealing your suitors!" "Shi Ran, can't you be a little smarter? Stay away from that schemer!" "Yeah, or who'll want to date you in the future?" After everyone leaves, a graceful figure emerges from the restroom. A slender arm snakes around Shi Ran's waist from behind. "Do you want to date someone?" After a long pause, Shi Ran nods. "I do." Wei Shang: "Who do you want to date?" Shi Ran: "...You." Wei Shang's red lips curl up. "Say that again." "..." "Say it again, and I'll date you."
