In his life, Zhu Yue has been to prison, been a fugitive, and lived with regrets. He's done just about every job there is, from joining his siblings in an assassination attempt against Zhuluo to disguising himself to smuggle a prisoner out of the deepest part of the Prison of Deep Seclusion. As a result, his reputation is a mixed bag.

The life of a workhorse is a hard one.
When he's awake, his old acquaintance works him without mercy. When he's asleep, all sorts of faceless people pester him with strange questions.
Guided by the simple logic that if there's work, it should be done, and if there's a problem, it should be solved, Zhu Yue dutifully helps out on both sides. His life, which was supposed to last only a few months, keeps getting extended, a medical miracle by any measure.
