The River Tide Invites the Moon

Jiang Chao grew up beside the Xun River and has been a strong swimmer since childhood.

During the tourist season, he's the young owner of a guesthouse. In the off-season, he works as a river patrol officer on the Xun River.

He was born here and raised here, and rarely travels far. In Jiang Yaoxi's eyes, he used to be someone who "had never seen the world."

Jiang Yaoxi works a nine-to-five job and also earns money writing novels. Her life isn't lavish, but it is comfortable and refined.

After something happens, she quits her job, disconnects from the internet, and goes to a small town to rest and recover.

That's where she meets Jiang Chao.

From then on, her life flows like a river, never ceasing.

*

"Look at the river. It always flows downstream, but life means swimming against the current."

"Do you know where it's flowing?"

"West."

That's why I'm destined to be drawn to you.

*

I listen quietly to the river's tide, to you, and to the wind.
