The Witch Extermination Handbook

In a kingdom where the average lifespan is less than a hundred days, a super-monster with infinite lifespan and limitless powers was born.

Royal Astrologer: She will destroy the entire planet!

King: You can see the future, too?

Royal Astrologer: No. I can only read information that already exists on this planet, so take a guess: how many times has she done this before?

King: I get it. The end is nigh, so we should make the most of our time. Right, tomorrow I'll send out invitations far and wide and throw a party for everyone!

The Royal Astrologer rolls her eyes: I mean, we have to find a way to change her heart! With love. Love is the most powerful force in the universe

The King asks, puzzled: Wait! If she can be changed, then in all those previous planetary destructions, did nobody try to change her?

The Royal Astrologer nods: They did.

The King sighs: They failed, right?

The Royal Astrologer shakes her head: They succeeded.

The King is confused: Then why is the planet still

The Royal Astrologer: The person who changed her heart died... So when she destroyed the planet that time, the explosion was especially spectacular.
