My Secret Little Jasmine

Deeply devoted and restrained X flexible and fresh, fake siblings

After living with the Duan family for several years, Xu Yimo always thought Duan Jinghuai was cold. Yet beneath that coldness, she could sometimes glimpse a hint of warmth.

That was until her mother, whom she hadn't seen in years, came back and took her away.

After graduating from college, Xu Yimo returned to China, determined to live a quiet life amid the bustle of the world. She never imagined she'd be facing another storm in her life.

In the shifting lights, the man named Duan Jinghuai appeared before her and handed her the keys to the Xu family's home, which was being auctioned off by the court...

"Come home. The jasmine in the garden is in bloom."

Xu Yimo looked at the tall, stern man, who had since taken over as company president. So he was the one who had bought her family's house, at an unimaginable price.

"Brother Jinghuai, why?"

He offered no further explanation. He left the keys and turned to go.

Later, one morning, she woke up curled in someone's arms. Xu Yimo asked him when he'd fallen for her.

The aloof, noble man gazed at the jasmine swaying in the breeze beyond the floor-to-ceiling window. He smiled with quiet tenderness and held her a little tighter.

"The day you left, a breeze from early summer happened to blow by."

It brushed the depths of her heart, its chill sinking to the bone.
