Bedside Fairy Tales

My next book will be The Damn Ex I Used to Stan Lives Next Door. It'll probably be a healing story, so please add it to your reading list~

That day, the sunset filled half the sky.

Warm orange light fell across her face. Shi Mu lifted her eyes without thinking and saw Su Chiyan.

The boy walked past her classroom with a snowboard tucked under his arm. He turned and smiled.

Shi Mu's breath caught, and her gaze stopped dead.

When she got home, she took out her diary and slowly wrote:

He smiled today,

but... he wasn't smiling at me.

I'm greedy. I want him to smile at me.

Years later, they met again.

Shi Mu stood by the roadside, holding her student's little hand.

“Teacher Xiao Shi, my uncle is a police officer. If you ever get into trouble, go find him,” the child said proudly, chin tilted up.

Shi Mu smiled indulgently and patted his head.

When she looked up, she saw a man standing across the street.

The faint streetlight outlined his handsome features.

He walked over and took the child from her.

Shi Mu was about to leave when he suddenly smiled at her.

His deep voice was like strong liquor, drawing her into the ebb and flow of time: “Teacher Shi, the police don't handle everything.”

After that, Su Chiyan often took it upon himself to look after her.

That night, the moon was hazy, and the stars were scattered across the dark sky like fragments.

The man pulled her, her face red with cold, into his arms. “Shi Mu, now I really want to take care of you.”

Later, a sentence appeared on the cover of Shi Mu's diary:

[There's a storybook by my pillow, filled with all my wishes. Miraculously, every one of them came true!]

[You are the blurry line

At first, she secretly loved him. Later, he pursued her.

Neither lead has an ex.
