Rainy Region

In the second year of her relationship with Yu Zhan, Yi Zhu discovered she'd been deceived.

As far as she was concerned, this relationship didn't call for a tearful accusation or a heart-wrenching struggle. It even deserved the calm slap she delivered after they'd held each other tenderly.

Give him a sweet date, then slap him.

Yu Zhan knew this was Yi Zhu's usual tactic. Sometimes, he even had the more perverse thought that he wished her slap would land harder, just so he'd know she still cared about him a little.

A neglected man is like a dog that's been abandoned.

But Yu Zhan thought becoming a dog might not be so bad. He wanted to lick the wounds on her body, long since scabbed over.

May your gentle heart one day find a sunny sky that needs no explanation.

3D GIS Development Engineer x Automation Equipment R&D Engineer

A slow-to-react, impervious heroine x a crybaby, love-struck hero

Note:

1. This is an unconventional second-chance romance. The heroine thinks they fall in love after getting together; from the hero's perspective, it's a story of rekindling an old relationship. The main storyline unfolds in the present, with flashbacks woven in, and there are quite a lot of them later on.

2. The heroine is rather reserved, so the story has a subdued feel too. If that's not your thing, feel free to stop reading. Don't force yourself.

3. This is a writing-comeback story. Criticism is welcome, but not writing advice.
