[Coming soon in the same series: You Call These Divine Teammates? Blurb at the bottom~]
Blurb:
Fu Zhanbai is a problem mid-laner whom the official commentators have blasted as defective. Ling Zhengran is a stubborn jungler who has just returned empty-handed from the World Championship, leaving behind a legendary play in which he accidentally helped the enemy.
Viewers everywhere call on the two terrifyingly bad players to stop ruining things for their teammates.
With public opinion at rock bottom, the two of them come to an agreement: “I heard you like throwing too. Want to throw a big one together and make some headlines?”
The news that they’re both joining the new team KEY causes an uproar the moment it’s announced. Someone takes the time to clip their infamous blunders together, and the comments are filled with “Perfect match” and “Now they’re locked in,” dripping with sarcasm.
Meanwhile, a poll posted on a forum quickly shoots to the top of the trending page. The original poster’s tone is anything but friendly:
“Fun-lovers, come predict how far KEY, led by this mid-jungle duo of legendary blunders, will get in the new season!”
Fun-loving Ling Zhengran reads the thread with great interest. Fu Zhanbai takes one look and sees a wall of comments: “They won’t make playoffs,” “It’ll count as a success if the mid-jungle duo don’t fall out…”
“One person thinks we’ll make Worlds. They’ve got good taste.”
Ling Zhengran: “Thanks for the compliment. That was me.”
Fu Zhanbai: “…”
Ling Zhengran: “Let’s interview the mid-laner of the legendary blunder duo. What’s your prediction?”
Fu Zhanbai answers succinctly: “Champions.”
Ling Zhengran: “Champions of what?”
Fu Zhanbai: “Every championship.”
A veteran top-laner who has spent years in the league without making a splash, an outrageously bad support who broke the death record last season, a reckless rookie AD just starting out, and this supposedly “unreliable” mid-jungle duo: how far can this team, which has delivered nonstop entertainment ever since it was formed, go in a season full of twists and turns?
A face-slapping growth story about two genius, swaggering mid-jungle players. A League of Legends esports story. No CP. The two male leads love only League of Legends.
[Coming soon: You Call These Divine Teammates? [No CP Esports]]
The popular powerhouse AKX, once riding high, suffers a disappointing defeat at the World Championship. Disillusioned viewers clamor for the five players who let them down to disband already.
The jungler and the club fail to reach a contract extension agreement at the end of the transfer window, making an already dispirited team’s situation even worse.
Amid a storm of rumors, AKX, at the bottom of public opinion, resolutely promotes its academy rookie Ling Zhengran to the starting roster for the new season. Anyone can see it’s a desperate move to put out a fire.
Everyone thinks AKX urgently needs an experienced player who can contribute right away, not a future star just starting out.
Even AKX fans can’t sit still. They angrily accuse the club of wasting four star players’ precious careers so the young heir can have playmates.
As rival fans and trolls battle it out, the talented rookie thrust into the center of public opinion casually reposts the official announcement and comments, “The gods are in position. Just wait.”
Trolls: “…”
Forum: “Whose kid just hit their chuunibyou phase?”
The chuunibyou kid Ling Zhengran dominated the secondary league. After he gets his wish and is promoted to his dream team, he automatically tunes out all the doubts and is quite satisfied with the start of his professional career.
His only concern is how someone as hyperactive as him will get along with four mature, level-headed veterans.
But on his first day through AKX’s doors, Ling Zhengran senses something’s off.
Come on, weren’t the people at AKX supposed to be serious? Viewers, don’t be fooled by their on-camera images. These legendary divine teammates are clearly even more entertaining than he is!
*Prequel to Listen, I Heard You Like Throwing Too, a related story in the author’s collection. It looks back on AKX’s year from Ling Zhengran’s point of view and can be read on its own. The game is League of Legends. No CP, no real-life models. The male lead loves only League of Legends.
Theme: The competitive spirit of never giving up, whether you’re at the top or the bottom
Yesterday, I was killed by the high-scoring Bl e-sports literary creation on the list, and I came back to find this book. The writing in that book really disgusted me. I really can't accept someone who just ignores my teammates and loves me, and then does a lot of special things in the base. This book is obviously good in all aspects, but it is not popular. Is it because it lacks an emotional line? Who on earth eats the emotional line of the big do special do in the base ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah
Wow, I finished reading this article. This article is really a masterpiece in my heart. I cried to death when I finally saw the part about Xiao Bai and Shi Qian in the extra chapter. Brother LOL best LOL. Playing e-sports may be about pursuing it all the way with the regret and growth of being separated from your brothers. Xiaobai and Xiao Zhao, let's work together next year!
I really feel bad for Xiaobai and Shi Qian, ugh
After finishing the second brush, I still feel a little melancholy. E-sports is full of regrets. Shi Qian and Xiaobai are really hard to forgive.
It looks good, but it's really a pity that Shi Qian and Xiao Bai can't be teammates in the end. . . I also want Xiaobai and Zhengran to be teammates forever. I just hope that HIT will have a suitable mid laner in the future.
Second brush! This is the best e-sports article I have ever read (crying). I found a little bit of the real-life LPL and LCK, and I was really moved.
It's very interesting. I haven't read a CP-free article for a long time, but this article reads naturally and smoothly. The competitive rhythm is tight, with some ups and downs. It just right depicts the joy and pain contained in competitive games vividly and freely. It can be clearly felt that the author is trying his best to depict each character, doing his best to make it gradually fuller and three-dimensional, forming this grand world. I love group portraits! But I still look forward to the author improving his writing style and depicting each character in a more detailed, vivid and three-dimensional way, spreading flowers!
I have read this book three times. I would like to call it the most e-sports article I have ever seen in JJ.
After finishing the novel three times, I feel like time really flies by. When I first read Teacher's book, I was still supporting my home team. But two years have passed and the home team is in bad shape. But when I return to the book, I am still very happy that Huahuo and Naipu can continue to be teammates. I no longer follow lpl, but I will still be happy for those moments of winning the cup. Time keeps passing by, but I stay in time.
When will the old AKM article start to be updated? Teacher, my hope in life is in that book. I really want to read Teacher Wen and the Dream God QAQQQQQQ.
