After the Aloof Immortal Lord Fell to Darkness

/When I discovered she said she loved me only to deceive me/

/So I turned to the dark side/

Xie Huaifang had once met a Daoist cultivator as pure and radiant as the moon.

She set her sights on him.

Later, the usually aloof and composed cultivator asked if she would become his Dao companion.

Xie Huaifang looked at his peerlessly handsome face and nodded.

She said yes.

But those words had barely left her mouth before she quickly grew tired of him.

After joining the Fuyun Sea, a sect in the Dao Realm, Xie Huaifang went to the Xuantian Sect to celebrate Immortal Lord Jin Cheng's appointment as sect leader.

In the great hall, a detached, otherworldly gaze remained fixed on her.

She looked up, only to see his icy, beautiful face.

At an inopportune moment, Xie Huaifang remembered the day he died at her hands:

The love and hatred mingling in his eyes, his disbelief, and his despairing anguish.

When Immortal Lord Jin Cheng fell into adversity, he once met a woman.

She was radiant and unruly, doing as she pleased without restraint.

He had known from the start that she was the young mistress of the Demon Sect, yet still fell deeper and deeper, becoming close to her and pledging themselves to each other. He was even willing to cut out a drop of blood from his heart for her.

He knew full well that he shouldn't, yet did it anyway.

But in the end, all he got for his wait was a sword through the heart.

Now that they had met again, he would repay her for the love and hatred of the past.

Later, cultivators of the Dao Realm learned of her former identity.

At a moment of peril, Ji Qingchen took a fatal blow for her.

Everyone was stunned, unable to understand why the leader of the Xuantian Sect would protect this demoness.

Only Xie Huaifang saw the darkness in his eyes and heard him whisper in her ear:

"Surely you believe me now."

"You can't go anywhere but to my side."

Xie Huaifang looked at the culprit who had trapped her in this predicament.

She wondered to herself, How had she never realized he was crazy?
