Working as an NPC in a Game World [The Fourth Calamity]

Playing an NPC in Another World Game [The Fourth Calamity]

"First Draft"

Just as Gu Yu was on the verge of ascending, the lightning tribulation for her ascension struck her into a world completely unlike the one she had lived in before.

There was no spiritual energy here, no cultivators, and the way humans cultivated was completely different from that of her old world. In fact, the two worlds didn't even belong to the same system.

Fearless in her youthful inexperience, Gu Yu roamed the continent, then dusted herself off, found a city, and settled down to enjoy a leisurely life, growing old and raising children.

But who knew that growing old in peace wouldn't be so easy? The city lord seemed to have something wrong with him.

Still, what did that have to do with Gu Yu? She was just an ordinary tavern proprietress who wanted to find her way home and, while she was at it, raise a few children.
