[Soccer + Figure Skating] The Rotterdam Miracle

During the 2014-2015 Eredivisie season, a golden-haired striker of just nineteen appeared on the pitch. Whenever he sprinted and shot, he brought to mind the Ukrainian Rocket who tore up Serie A in the early twenty-first century.

But the young Feyenoord player, Feyenoord van Schulz, was undeniably Dutch.

His outstanding skills opened the door to victory for Feyenoord time and again.

As if born for this team, he would ultimately be crowned king at Feyenoord, for Feyenoord.

This is a not-so-rigorous story about one person and one city. There will be no transfers, and he will never transfer. From beginning to end, it all takes place in the Eredivisie, with Feyenoord.

Told from the male lead's perspective, with a male-female romance. The female lead has a relatively minor presence.

The names are pretty arbitrary and don't mean much. For instance, I made up the male lead's surname, van Schulz, on the spot. orz

Inspired by Van Persie, Van der Vaart, Van Basten, and others.

I'm not a Feyenoord fan. I just suddenly came up with the idea for this story and hoped I could write a proper sports novel.

The Eredivisie will probably be hard to write, since it doesn't attract as much attention as the Big Five leagues. I'll do my best.

Female lead: Wilhelmina Helena Marie, inspired by the name of the Dutch queen who reigned from the late nineteenth to the twentieth century. It was also the original name of Feyenoord's club.

All I can say is, this is fate arranged by the author.

The female lead is a figure skater. I don't know much about figure skating, so there won't be much about it.

The project is open for now. Whether I write it is up to fate. Digging a hole and never filling it is a virtue.
