Yao Simu, a math major who dropped out of her PhD program to pursue an "unorthodox" career, switched to Wall Street and became a quant genius at a hedge fund.
With her keen sense for numbers, she developed an algorithm for calculating chaotic systems. When the stock market crashed by 60 percent, her algorithm made a 100 percent profit.
Later, Yao Simu stumbled upon a scandal involving Youhui Real Estate: its finances were strained, and its major shareholders were illegally cashing out. She promptly used her connections to team up with a fund company and short the real estate firm's stock, amassing a fortune of 1.2 billion dollars.
The real estate company's market value plunged by 90 percent, bringing it to the brink of bankruptcy. Yao Simu was targeted for revenge by a real estate tycoon. She had no choice but to send her parents abroad and flee under an assumed name to a remote border village, where she worked as a restaurant waitress. She waited for the company boss to be investigated and arrested, until her own situation was no longer precarious.
After a forced landing, tech mogul Zhou Yanguo imperiously ordered his entourage to drive through the night to another city to catch a connecting flight. But just after crossing the border, their car broke down. In the freezing cold, business was slow at the restaurant and guesthouse in the small border town, and the group ran into Yao Simu, whom the owner had sent out to "bring in customers."
With a sharp eye, Yao Simu realized that the plainly dressed Zhou Yanguo was no ordinary man. She tricked and swindled him into staying at a terribly run-down guesthouse, then charged him an exorbitant fee.
Zhou Yanguo left in a fury, feeling helpless after being cheated. But halfway there, heavy snow blocked the road, forcing him to turn back. He wanted to find another guesthouse, but the slippery Yao Simu kept getting in his way. In the end, he had no choice but to swallow his pride and stay at the original place. He secretly vowed to skin the little fox alive once the snow melted. Who could have known the snow wouldn't melt until the following year...
And what he never expected was that the "country girl" he'd been dealing with for a month would shamelessly hitch a ride on his chartered plane, claiming she wanted to see the big city.
From then on, Yao Simu became an impossible-to-shake nuisance, while Zhou Yanguo also began to sense the danger lurking around her and realized her identity was far from ordinary...
Theme: Because of you, I'm willing to love this world
Dad, do you know that I have been waiting for you for a long time, but I haven't published a new article yet. Have you changed the platform?
It wasn't until today that I was willing to finish reading the last few chapters. It's great. See you next time. I'm willing to be your reader.
It's really good. I want to see Mr. Zhou take care of the kids, hahaha
The articles are all very well written. I hope to see more excellent works.
I just found out that the male protagonist has a tendency to s. M.
OMG I replaced that unfortunate assistant... Poor social beast
Looking forward to life in three years, will it be like a crazy situation?
Hahahahahaha, Zhou Yanguo, who suffers from road rage, is inexplicably cute and joyful. I love them even more. I really like this couple!!!!!!
Didn't I say before that there would be children? Why didn't you write it?
The story is full of tension, and some scenes are so beautiful that they feel like they are in a fairy tale. Although I didn't watch it completely, because I probably guessed or knew the outcome or the direction of the plot, when it was more professional, and when the male and female protagonists were too boring? I just liked to jump and watch. In short, if you like to fall in love and kill each other, don't miss it if the hero and heroine have strategies, means, and vests ~ The plot is compact, hahahahaha, the hero and heroine "candidly meet each other" much faster than I thought ~ It's not coy at all, it's an adult's concept of love and how to get along.
