[Harry Potter] Golden-Haired Jiniya

The second year of the famous Chosen One Harry Potter's life began with a terrible start.

"Help!" Since Hogwarts began operating, no student had ever missed the train because of running late.

But the reality was that Potter and the youngest Weasley boy had run smack into a brick wall.

"Well, look at these two late little fellows." Before Ron could get up from the ground, he heard a voice above him, laced with laughter.

Ron looked up at the newcomer in a rather comical way. She was a very fashionable-looking woman. Sunlight streamed through the skylight of King's Cross Station, hazily illuminating her shining hair. The pretty older girl arched a slender eyebrow and pushed her tinted sunglasses up onto her head. Her warm, honey-colored eyes reflected Ron's rather foolish-looking figure.

The pretty older girl smiled and leaned closer. A slender gold chain slipped out from her collar. Harry caught the pleasant scent of her perfume. Unlike the cloyingly sweet floral fragrances some girls at school wore, hers was rich and gentle, like the scent of a plant.

Harry thought she looked a little familiar, but no matter how hard he searched his memories, he couldn't find the slightest clue. Good grief, all the trouble he'd had over the summer had occupied his mind so completely that he couldn't think straight.

Ron cried out in surprise. "It's you! Oh, I mean, Professor Lockhart, hello."

Only then did Harry remember that the person before them was their second-year Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, Ginia Lockhart.
