A palace maid poisons her. She picks up the drink and swallows it, but the maid's plot is exposed and she hangs herself. Cheng Yang is completely unharmed.

During a garden outing in the harem, the Grand Consort pushes her into a pond. The Grand Consort nearly dies of illness, while Cheng Yang only ruins an outfit.

On a secret excursion outside the palace, assassins suddenly appear. She hurries forward to greet them, but the Grand Tutor is nearly killed while she's still full of energy.
