Reborn, Jiang Nanzhou intends to stop hiding his identity and make the most of his life.

But first, he runs into the man he'd considered his archenemy in his previous life: Lan Jue, the protagonist gong of the win-back-your-ex novel.

Jiang Nanzhou instinctively flies into a rage, ready to beat him up and vent the anger he'd carried over from his previous life. But then the cool, handsome man glances at him and slowly takes a contract from the bedside table, holding it out to him.

Lan Jue says expressionlessly, as if reading lines from a script, "Sign this contract, and you'll be mine. No one will dare bully you from now on."

Lan Jue has transmigrated into a book.

He has transmigrated into an ongoing danmei novel about a scum gong trying to win back his ex, one his younger sister recommended. He's become the domineering CEO protagonist gong with the same name.

Since he hasn't read the novel, he only knows the general plot. The original story was so absurd that it was never finished. Readers tore the author to shreds, so the author abandoned it with a rushed ending.

The System tells Lan Jue that if he can turn the book into a sweet romance without making major changes to the main plot, he'll get the chance to be reborn.

So Lan Jue secretly swaps the keeping contract for a marriage contract and jumps straight into a sweet, married-first, love-later story.

He accepts all of the protagonist bottom's unreasonable demands and little tantrums, acting like the perfect lover.

Until one day, much later, when Lan Jue, with a sore waist and aching legs, realizes something isn't right.

Hmm... It seems he married the wrong person.
