[Waltz of the Spiral] A Casual Fan's Guide to Buying Merch

*I've abandoned this story and won't be finishing it. I marked it complete only to plant another tree. I'm sorry to all the lovely readers who bookmarked it or followed along. Please don't read it.

*Content warning: This story includes a female supporting character with unrequited romantic feelings for the female protagonist.

In 2030, the Spiral Future Grain Exchange launched a hyper-realistic simulation product. By altering alpha brain waves, deceiving the brain, and using virtual particle projection technology, it could make collectible characters come alive right before your eyes.

In the Lady's Laboratory, the heroine Magda was created as the first simulated collectible.

She was eagerly looking forward to the remaining sixty characters when...

"We regret to inform you that, due to a lack of funds, the Future Grain Exchange will be closed indefinitely."

And the fate of Magda, the game character capable of deceiving the human brain, was unknown.

Later, the world's first "real-time interactive" virtual singer, MGD, appeared on countless virtual screens.

With information transmitted at a scale of quadrillions, she didn't even need to leave home. She only had to place her hand on a fiber-optic cable carrying transmission particles to exchange information with virtual screens around the world.

She could talk to fans all over the world, yet Magda still felt lonely.

"If only I could have some friends, just like humans..." So Magda began buying collectibles like crazy.

A few days later:

"Help! The collectibles I bought have come to life!"

A shameless plug, delivered with complete confidence:

→ Completed: "After Escaping the Sword Sect, I Became a Swordsmith," swordsmith × sword cultivator. This is the culprit that kept this story on hiatus for over three months.

→ Next: Historical romance, "The Mute Wife and Her Clingy Husband," a woman pretending to be mute × a farmer. A sweet little romance.

Theme: Spend wisely.
