Master of Bluffing, Rising to Fame

After Jiang Jianyue transmigrates into a vicious supporting female character who won't survive past chapter three, she gets bound to a half-hearted System. As long as she can fool it well enough, she'll survive to the end and earn a huge number of points.

When she competes with the heroine for the same role,

the heroine sings and dances at her audition, doing everything she can to dazzle the crowd.

Jiang Jianyue applauds from the sidelines, nodding along as she lies down. "Amazing! That's simply incredible. I could never do that."

Director: "I've chosen Jiang Jianyue. She's absolutely perfect for my role."

Jiang Jianyue: "?"

When she's on a survival variety show with the male lead,

he refuses to team up with her, so her missions involve either climbing mountains or diving into the sea.

Jiang Jianyue lies on the beach as the contrast contestant, drinking coconut juice. She even praises her teammate enthusiastically: "Wow, as expected of our industry's role model!"

Netizens: "...Jiang Jianyue is way too cute. Isn't she just like me, being forced to go to a dinner party and halfheartedly applauding that guy who's always showing off with such confidence?"

Jiang Jianyue: "?"

Whenever Jiang Jianyue meets someone connected to the plot, she automatically switches into fool-them mode.

She never expected to become famous for it. Her adorable fans all get how sincere her half-hearted act is, and call her an ambassador of love and peace, as well as the embodiment of an office worker forced to put on a show!

Later, Jiang Jianyue goes on a dating show.

Her partner, Jian Guangchen, is a famous business tycoon and investor who treats the show like a vacation, happily playing ball, surfing, and snorkeling.

Jiang Jianyue watches him show off his talents from the sidelines, unable to look away. "Wow, how does he know how to do everything? No wonder he's the youngest rising star in the industry. Even his figure is perfect. Mmm!"

Netizens: "? Jiang Jianyue, you're acting weird."

Jiang Jianyue: "? You're right."

An assistant with plenty of dating experience once said that the best way to get someone to like you was to show off your charms and attract them.

Throughout filming, Jian Guangchen follows the assistant's plan, showing off a different side of his charm every day.

But even after the show ends, Jiang Jianyue hasn't even asked for his contact details. He gives his assistant a furious dressing-down, then turns around and gets straight into the car Jiang Jianyue is leaving in.

Jiang Jianyue remembers that he has another identity: he's the heroine's cousin. She instinctively starts backing away.

Jian Guangchen's gaze pauses. "I'm pretty good at driving, too. Want to give it a try?"

Jiang Jianyue somehow takes it the wrong way. "...N-no, wouldn't that be inappropriate...?"

Jian Guangchen's usually cool expression softens. "It'll be great."

Only later does Jiang Jianyue find out he meant exactly what he said. QAQ
