Candlelit Night

As the army led by Zhou Tun prepared to besiege the city, a maidservant reported to Liu Chan, "Mr. Xu advised the lord that Zhou Tun has a grudge against you. If you simply surrender Jizhou City, it may not be enough to save your life. But Zhou Tun has long heard of Your Ladyship's beauty. If you offer him your beloved wife as well to show your sincerity..."

Liu Chan calmly placed a hairpin in her hair as she gazed into a bronze mirror. "I thought Sun Lang was a hero of his age, like my second brother. It seems I was wrong. If he wants to offer the city and his beautiful wife to Zhou Tun, I will not resist. But Zhou Tun will get only my corpse. Granny, please relay my words to Sun Lang without changing a single one." With that, she leapt from the city wall of Jizhou.

Amidst the vast army, a rider came galloping toward her. As she lay dying, the face Liu Chan saw was not Sun Huan's.

Ha. Sun Huan, Sun Heming, that coward!
