Nanshan Yue is ambushed while training, loses all his martial arts, and falls unconscious with serious injuries. He thinks he will be left to die in the wilderness, but when he opens his eyes again, he finds himself in a shabby little hut.

The man who saved his life is rich, handsome, and highly skilled in martial arts. Unfortunately, he's completely clueless.

He goes out in the rain without an umbrella, likes sleeping on the rafters, is always saying sorry, and eventually insists on becoming Nanshan Yue's shadow guard...

Getting such a powerful, loyal, and obedient shadow guard for free is a good deal no matter how you look at it. But gradually, Nanshan Yue realizes something is wrong.

His cute and powerful shadow guard seems to have developed a problem. Not only is he unusually sleepy, but his movements and reactions are getting slower and slower...

Just as Nanshan Yue is puzzled, a delicate, frail young gentleman suddenly arrives at his residence, claiming to be his one-night stand...

Nanshan Yue: ?

Shen Yi was dug out of a snowdrift by Nanshan Yue, so his life belongs to Nanshan Yue.

Nanshan Yue tells him: From now on, you are my shadow guard. You must follow and protect me for the rest of your life.

Many years later, Shen Yi returns to fulfill this promise, but Nanshan Yue has already forgotten him...

Not only that, but a frail young gentleman who loves picking fights with him at every turn has suddenly appeared at Nanshan Yue's side...

Question: What should you do when your master has a new favorite?

Shen Yi: Just kill him with one sword.

Nanshan Yue: ???

Theme: The world may kiss me with pain, but I will answer with song.
