Chen Yin was a force to be reckoned with at work, directing everyone and everything. She lived in a mansion, drove a luxury car, and spent money like water. In the end, she died at her desk made of golden nanmu.
As her consciousness drifted, she heard a cold, mechanical female voice:
[I'll give you another chance. Would you still choose to work alone until you were thirty-five?]
Chen Yin replied, “If I don't make money, are you going to support me?”
[...I can.]
Chen Yin: “I spend a lot, so don't go making promises you can't keep.”
[Congratulations, you've been selected by the Dream Girl System. We've detected that you're attracted to women. The System has found you a Dream Girl with perfect looks, figure, and family background. Please follow the System's plan to win her over. You'll receive a huge cash reward for every completed task. Host, do you accept?]
Chen Yin: This doesn't seem right.
[Yes (get 10,000 RMB for saying hello; 11,000 for picking up a water bottle she dropped; 1,000,000 for holding hands; 10,000,000 for a kiss...)]
[No (die)]
Chen Yin: This doesn't seem right. I can't accept all this money with a clear conscience. Could you add a few more penalties...
Following the System's instructions, Chen Yin met the Dream Girl. Delicate as a willow in the wind, with eyes like clear autumn water, long black hair falling like a waterfall and a slender waist, the girl looked at her shyly, as endearing and helpless as a climbing vine.
[Are you satisfied?]
Chen Yin: Not bad.
Just as she was about to go over and say hello, she caught sight of a woman at another table. The woman wore a slim, elegant black gown, with the corners of her eyes slightly upturned and a catlike gaze. Her long fingers rested on her cup, and against the sheen of her satin dress, she looked like a noble medieval countess.
Chen Yin: “The... Dream Girl?!”
[Host! Host, you're going the wrong way!]

Reborn, Ye Qi follows the desire she held onto as she died: to have a sweet romance with her boss, Chen Yin. She blamed everything that had kept her from winning Chen Yin's love in her past life on her ordinary looks and poor family. So she traded her soul to a demon for the Dream Girl System to be bound to Chen Yin, and gave herself a new appearance that everyone would adore.
But when she sees Chen Yin rush up to her, wave, say, “Hi, I'm Chen Yin, a Virgo, and...” and then run off toward another woman, Ye Qi is stunned.
“Is this what you call a romance worth giving your life for?”

Let's have a medieval romance, where love is the glorious dream of heroes, enough to comfort us through all the suffering in the world.
