One day, three years ago, I found a silver-haired man badly injured in an alley.
After I nursed him with great care, he finally woke up, but had lost all his memories.
To get back at my ex, a Public Security Bureau officer who'd dumped me without a second thought, I made an impulsive decision: I eloped with this mysterious man!
...I never expected married life to be surprisingly harmonious. The man I'd picked up was quiet, but he spoiled me and was great at keeping house.
We lived happily for three years, with me working outside and him taking care of the home. Then, one day, my husband regained his memories.
He was a member of the Black Organization, a top killer codenamed Gin.
My husband, the man I'd spent every day with, turned out to be a major villain. And what I never expected was that the first assassination assignment he received after regaining his memories had me as its target.
On the wedding anniversary I'd been looking forward to for so long, I didn't get flowers or a gift from my husband. Instead, I got a few bullets.
Heartbroken and devastated, I faked my death on the spot!

Gin's POV:
Gin's missions never fail, but after killing that woman, he started having dreams every night.
He dreamed of how she didn't want to get out of bed and would bury her head beneath the covers, peeking at him with her big, watery eyes; how whenever they went out, she'd want to taste everything and tiptoe to offer him a piece of candy she'd only taken one bite of; how, when he was injured, she'd gently stroke his hair and tell him he could kiss her if it hurt... Those fragments of memory surfaced in his mind, one after another.
Later, Gin couldn't sleep through the night. He could only fall asleep while holding her clothes.

The Organization issued a new assignment, and Gin went to a bar.
There, he unexpectedly saw the woman who should have been dead.
In a bright red dress, she chatted and laughed with several men. A clueless guy beside her asked, “When will Miss Keke finally get over her ex-husband and accept my pursuit?”
Gin: ...
#What ex-husband? We're not even divorced, thanks.#
#You guys better stay away from my wife.#
Before you read:
1. A crossover of Detective Conan and Jujutsu Kaisen, with a small amount of X Dao Husband.
2. My take on an amnesiac Gin, with lots of original headcanons, out-of-character moments, and a reconstructed timeline.
3. The main plot is already laid out in the blurb. Expect melodramatic, angsty, cathartic drama. If that's not your thing, please don't read. Thanks for understanding.
Theme: Living in the darkness, with one's heart turned toward the light.
