You’re So Adorable

Back in college, the search term “When will Zhou Xingzhi and Jiang Leshu break up?” stayed at the top of the school forum for months.

The reason was simple: the scholarship-winning student council president was being tormented by the famously good-for-nothing young lady, which had made the whole school furious.

Only Jiang Leshu knew that her relationship with Zhou Xingzhi was a transaction, held together by threats and temptations. They were never meant to last.

At last, the day came for them to part ways.

Her eyes red, she bit his lip hard. “Zhou Xingzhi, I want you to remember me forever.”

“Forget it. You'd better not remember me. I hope things keep getting better for you.”

Years after they parted, the boy in the faded white shirt had become a hotshot in his industry.

When the Jiang family fell into decline, Jiang Leshu was forced to marry a complete stranger as a pawn in a marriage alliance.

On the eve of the wedding, someone stopped Jiang Leshu at the entrance to her residential compound. “You have to get married anyway. Why not give me a try?”

The night wind whipped up, billowing the man's black trench coat and revealing Zhou Xingzhi's face.

Jiang Leshu would never know that on the night she asked him to break up, he had stood beneath her apartment until dawn.

He's been in love with her for years.

A marriage first, then love. You could just about call it a rekindled romance.
