The Merchant's Young Lady

Tang Tang is the daughter of a distillery owner. When the business runs into trouble, the Tang and Yu families begin discussing a marriage alliance. After working out most of the details, they arrange for the two young people to meet. On the day of their meeting, Tang Tang is in a car accident and dies along with the car.

When she wakes up, she finds herself in a chaotic age, with several powerful warlords ruling their own territories. Her family is still fabulously wealthy. Isn't that just a ready-made granary in the eyes of the warlords? Her family has money, but other people have knives!

To survive in this troubled world, Tang Tang decides that she absolutely must ally herself with a powerful faction!

After studying the various warlords, Tang Tang settles on the Lu family, the house of Prince Dingyuan.

Word has it that the wealthy Tang family has had only one child in each generation of its main line for three generations. This generation has just one daughter, whom the Tang couple spoil rotten. They say the Tang family's eldest young lady is willful and extravagant, and weighs two hundred jin.

Later, people hear that the Tang family is going to form a marriage alliance with Prince Dingyuan's faction. The prince's three grown sons all flee at the mere mention of it, refusing flat-out. Just as Prince Dingyuan is getting a headache over the matter, his wife's nephew volunteers for the marriage alliance.

To beat out the other competitors, he says he's willing to marry into the Tang family.

The crowd gasps, astonished and impressed.
