Hiding from Him

[Blurb]

[Little Sweetheart x Big Bad Wolf]

After disaster strikes her family, Ruan Tian becomes an orphan overnight.

On a night of torrential rain, someone takes her back to the Cheng family home.

The Cheng family has two young masters. The elder, Cheng Yuan, is cold and gloomy, while the younger, Cheng Yi, is gentle and always smiling.

Ruan Tian likes Cheng Yi.

But at some point, Cheng Yuan becomes interested in her, and Ruan Tian wants nothing to do with him.

Living under someone else's roof, unable to speak her mind, she suppresses her fear and avoids him at every turn.

Years later, Ruan Tian finally gathers the courage to leave the Cheng family, but Cheng Yuan blocks her way and forces her back.

"A Ruan, why are you running?" he sneers, his long fingers gripping her chin, his thumb pressing against her lips. His voice is low and cold. "You really want to leave?"

Ruan Tian knows all too well how terrifying Cheng Yuan can be. Her body trembles and her legs go weak as she stammers nervously, "N-no, no... I'm not leaving."

He keeps smiling, lowering his gaze to savor the panic in her eyes. He raises a hand and strokes her face, his tone full of pity. "Poor A Ruan, all grown up and still stammering. Come here and give me a kiss."

Ruan Tian bites her lip, closes her eyes, and leans in to lightly brush the corner of his lips.

As she pulls away, still close to him, she hears his icy voice beside her ear: "Ruan Tian, remember this. I'm your man. Run again and I'll break your legs."

Ruan Tian: (?ó﹏ò?)
