A Couch Potato Rebuilds After the War in Ancient Times

Lu Wenyan has never been lucky. He was looking for a job when the economy fell into recession, and zombies broke out right after he paid the down payment on a home. After barely surviving in the apocalypse, he was hunted down when his spirit spring was exposed.

While fleeing, he accidentally fell onto an ancient battlefield and was shot through the chest with an arrow.

Lu Wenyan: "..." I'm tired. Just let the world end.

Lin Kai refused to live as a slave. He ran away, got caught, and was beaten with hard, cold sticks. The pain only made him more determined to fight back against it all.

They would have to beat him to death, or he would escape.

Then a sickly young man rescued him and even handed over his indenture contract, restoring his freedom and telling him he could leave whenever he wanted.

Hmph. I never owe anyone anything. I'll leave after paying back the price of my contract.

After paying him back

I'll leave once you get better, you sickly thing.

After he recovered

I'll leave once I've saved enough money.

After saving enough money

Who says I'm leaving? I'll stay wherever I damn well please.

A laid-back top and a loyal, devoted bottom.

The story of an ordinary man who only wants to live comfortably and, by keeping nothing to himself, gradually makes life better for everyone around him.

Theme: Do what you want. You don't need a reason.
