Innocence

The princess didn't want to marry a cripple, so she sent her slave, Bailu, to a distant manor to test the marriage with her and the man in the wheelchair. The princess hoped he would have problems with his sexual or reproductive abilities, or some obvious flaw in his character, so she could use it as an excuse to put off or delay the wedding. One of the lowest-ranking species in the universe, Bailu was weak and lowly. In an age when even highly intelligent robots were protected by law, he had no right to refuse. He and the princess's fiancé innocently embraced, kissed, and went to bed together, doing everything lovers would do. It was only a trial run, though. None of it was real. At first, Xiboyinlai didn't consider Bailu a "person" at all, but a vessel for his desires, an object he didn't need to take seriously. Later, he hoped Bailu would stay by his side forever. He would protect him, and others would respect him. If anything happened and he was left on his own, he would still be treated as an equal and would not lose his rights as a person. The old era would eventually end, and a new one would come. The life of Xiboyinlai, Lord of the Iron Rose, was renowned for his cruelty, coldness, suspicion, scheming, and immense political power. His wife, Bailu, was his only weakness. A story about someone eating his words. A crippled political schemer x a slave with nothing but beauty In a world of extreme inequality, they stand worlds apart, until an accident brings them together in love. A romance set in an imagined future among the stars. The top is awful at first. This isn't pure fluff, but things get very sweet once they fall in love. Theme: Everyone should give a little love
