Never Let Yan Down [Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils]

I'm writing this out of love. It won't be published behind a paywall. Bookmarks and comments keep me going~ Blurb: Wang Yuyan found a book called Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils buried in a pile of manuals. She thought it might be some obscure martial arts manual, but who would have guessed that its brief passages described half her life? She was the illegitimate daughter of the Prince of Zhennan of Dali? Would her cousin's maid, A Zhu, follow Qiao Feng? Was Qiao Feng a Khitan? Was Uncle Murong faking his death? Would he become a monk at Shaolin Temple in the future? Would her cousin abandon her, then go mad after failing to restore the Yan dynasty? Would she end up with an idiot who had three wives and four concubines? Absurd! Wang Yuyan gave a cold snort and shut the book, then burned it. But when everything written in it began happening one after another, she propped her chin on her hand and smiled sweetly at the handsome young gentleman beneath the candlelight. The book said her cousin loved her. If being obedient and docile wouldn't keep him by her side, then there was no need to keep pretending. She would turn everything written in the book to her advantage. Dear cousin, you're destined to sail across Lake Tai. +++++++++++++++++++ A beautiful woman, goofy on the outside but ruthless and obsessive within x a proud, sharp-tongued gentleman Warnings: 1. Wang Yuyan is cold-hearted and calculating. She will cultivate the Northern Darkness Divine Art, but won't steal Duan Yu's opportunities. 2. This is my first fanfic. If anyone notices out-of-character behavior, aside from the characterization issue mentioned in warning 1, feel free to point it out, cuties. 3. Based on the 2003 version of Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. It may differ from the original, so please don't overthink it. Theme: If you want something, you have to fight for it yourself.
