Jiang Yuexin’s diary was spread out on the table in plain sight, as if she didn’t care who read it.
Qin Zheng leaned against the headboard and flipped through it casually. It was less a diary than a record of her part-time jobs.
Boring. For some reason, it made him inexplicably irritated.
Until he came across a page with his name on it.
“Met someone today. His name is Qin Zheng.”
Jiang Yuexin came out of the bathroom, droplets of water still clinging to her.
His expression relaxed. “So, was it love at first sight for you?”
Jiang Yuexin had her back to him as she changed. At that, she glanced over coldly without saying a word.
Her friends were always saying Jiang Yuexin was too cold. There wasn’t a trace of warmth in her eyes, and no one could ever thaw her.
Qin Zheng grabbed her wrist, stubbornly refusing to believe it. “Jiang Yuexin, be with me. Let’s spend our whole lives together.”
He had her head spinning with desire, and her whole body was burning. Even her eyes were red from the heat, but when she spoke, her voice was still ice-cold. “It won’t happen. You’ll leave me eventually.”
