Before the Divorce, the Heir Lost His Memories

* The novel will begin once the advance collection reaches 150.

Shen Yingjia, the legitimate daughter of the Shen family, is beautiful and intelligent. She was once so sought after that even a glimpse of her was worth a fortune, but the Shen family falls on hard times. Remembering an old verbal promise, the head of the family offers her to Gu Ziyu, heir to the Duke's household, whom she has met only twice.

Gu Ziyu is as radiant and aloof as moonlight, and has no interest in women. He is nearly thirty and still has neither wife nor concubine, making him the man every noblewoman in the capital wants to marry. Princess Qing Le even threatens to cut off her hair to get his favor. Shen Yingjia has already guessed that, given the circumstances, she can only marry into the Gu family as a concubine. She never expects Gu Ziyu to send an eight-horse wedding carriage and miles of bridal finery to take her as his wife.

As she nervously clutches her wedding veil, his cool voice reaches her ear through the fabric. "I am taking you as my principal wife only to make Princess Qing Le give up."

She knows about his tangled history with Princess Qing Le, so on their wedding day she signs a contract with Gu Ziyu. As expected, after they marry, they are sweet and loving in public, but distant and indifferent in private, like strangers.

Even when the young general who grew up with Shen Yingjia visits several times and chats with her without restraint, Gu Ziyu merely presses his thin lips together and turns away, as if he does not care at all.

When the contract expires, Shen Yingjia prepares a divorce agreement and packs her belongings. She waits leisurely at home for Gu Ziyu to return and sign it, but instead receives word that he has lost his memory...

**

After suddenly losing his memory, Gu Ziyu's recollections return to the time before he was married. Now there is inexplicably a light-sleeping young woman beside him.

At first, he does not believe his friend when told that he and his wife are deeply in love. But as the cold nights pass, he finds himself getting up to tuck the blanket around her.

Until one day, he discovers the divorce agreement tucked under the bed...
