Sukuna Killed Me 100 Times in My Dreams

Dong Yunqingli knew very well that she was dreaming. Even though time passed normally here and she could clearly feel pain, she knew it was a dream.

In the dream, she was a shrine maiden, running around the village every day to deal with trouble caused by various emerging yokai. One day, when she returned, she was suddenly told that she was to be offered as a sacrifice.

Qingli: Why didn't you tell me earlier?

Only at the end did she learn that the sacrifice was meant to seal away a monster. But something went wrong this time: the monster escaped before the ritual was complete. The next second, monster and shrine maiden were both cut in half at the waist.

Qingli: ?

When she woke up (entered the dream), she landed on top of a corpse. Before she could even raise her head, an aura even more terrifying than the one from before engulfed her.

Theme: Fate is wonderfully mysterious.
