Story blurb:

An investigative team made up of [a pessimist tired of life + a rebellious heroine from a prominent clan + a refined, well-mannered traveling physician + a fake monk].

Everyone is stranded on a snowy plain, with no food for days:

Xie Yue'er: I just caught a wild rabbit! Come on, everyone, let's eat!

Ji Zhou: (glances at the rabbit) I'm not hungry. You guys eat.

Wu Du: Forget it. Even if we fill our stomachs now, who knows what we'll eat next time? We're going to starve sooner or later. Better to die early and be reborn early. I'm not eating.

Xie Yue'er: You... Fine, don't eat it then! Hmph!

Huiyin: This monk likes rabbit legs. Just save me a piece.

Xie Yue'er: What happened to your vows as a monk?!

Huiyin: I never really became a monk. Have you ever seen a monk with a full head of hair?! Besides, the Buddha is a busy old man. He doesn't have time to care what I eat.

A wuxia mystery with a goofy, comedic tone.

This story includes a side character romance and a BL couple, but they won't get much page time, and the characters don't appear often.

Theme: Keep your feet on the ground
