Author's Notes [2023.12.22]:
I began organizing and revising this story back in 2020... Some changes are to the prose, while others involve adjustments to the plot.
That's right. While writing another story, "The Clouds Fly On" (from Yiye Shu's perspective), I realized that its timeline could fit with this one. Not only the original show, but also the fan-made additions hidden behind its original setting, are consistent.
There's not much point in complaining about a reaction time as long as the Somersault Cloud's, so the author has decided to accept reality...
And so, this revised version came to be.
A great deal has happened over these ten-odd years that have slipped by, but none of it is all that important...
How should I put it? The biggest surprise is... that I've somehow made it this far. So... it's enough to just keep living :) All appearances are a playground.
Revising a completed story on Jinjiang is a tedious process. I hadn't planned on updating it, but something moved me recently, and I felt I should at least revise this story as much as possible. I've only revised the chapters that needed the most work. Thank you to all my readers for your patience :)
I finally finished the revisions today, on the Winter Solstice. At the height of yin, yang is born; the yang returns.
It's not reincarnation, but a new beginning. How wondrous.
Author's Notes While Serializing [2009.12]:
Are all fanfics... perhaps born from grievances?
It's been a long time since I've felt such a deep grievance.
I've heard of Pili Puppetry for a long time. Perhaps fate really does bring people together. I probably first became interested in it this March, and by the end of the year I was completely hooked. I entered the world of Pili through Jianzi, Longsu, and the Sun-Moon Talents, yet the first people I wrote about were someone else. I can't help but marvel at that.
This story has no real mystery, and it won't be long. The ending of Shenzhou III is ultimately Heichangfeng's ending, too. Even so, in the midst of such a busy life, I still want to write it down.
Clouds stretch across the sky and waves reach into the dawn mist. I hear the heavens speak, asking earnestly where I will return.
At first I titled it "Long Winds for Ten Thousand Miles." Halfway through, I suddenly realized that "Long Winds" was enough.
Premise: Believe in love, choose love, and live through love.
[Purple Sugar] kswl's luxury car arrived after fifteen years, I cried while eating it [crying] [crying]
I was so happy to actually see Changfeng pulling the lamp. Although the two of them had reasons for healing at the beginning, in the end they both faced their feelings calmly, which was really great. Although I was still heartbroken thinking about the ending [crying]
However, I always feel that Zhu Wencangri is his ideal self but not his true self. The real Zhu Wu is self-obsessed and a little narcissistic. Zhu Wencangri is a light and unrestrained wind, and Zhu Wu himself is a more intense ball of fire.
I still like the original work [Spreading Flowers] the most
Praise for the last two words!
"I have gone without repaying your kindness, so I look back in vain and sing a sad song while playing a cylindrical instrument. The fire is in the stone, and the wind is thousands of miles away. It doesn't take much to hate."
"Gu said that during his lifetime and after his death, you should have died, and you would have had a long knot under your waist. My armor was shattered, and the demons laughed at me, and thousands of strands hung from the sky."
"Old friends meet each other, old and haggard in spring clothes. I have a pure heart and a cold eye. Why do you want to turn the world upside down? Time has changed, and I have to stand guard in a desperate situation. I have a destiny to violate you."
I particularly like these sentences!
However, "Four oddities and six strings, the romance is gone now." - Doesn't it rhyme more like this?
Cang's life is long and lonely, fighting against destiny and protecting the common people. But no one supported him and warmed him when he was tired. Finally, Zhu Wu, a passionate and gentle devil, did it. In the end, he had no choice but to leave Cang. I hope that you will remember each other and find each other in the next life. The author should consider writing a modern novel about the afterlife.
It turns out that this text was originally planned to have a second part! I said that the tone of the whole article doesn't look like be. I guess the author will never write it again. I just silently thought about it. Zhu Cang is so delicious.
Well done Zhu Wu, he can bear the hurt and hold his wife [dog head]
Ah, am I too late? I only saw the dregs of meat [covering face and peeking]
