I Turned Out to Love Him After Rejecting the Blind Date

A short, free, sweet story. Complete.

A writer who gained fans through her dancing and beauty but writes full-time x a PhD who gained fans through his voice but devoted himself to medicine

They wandered through the spiritual world of the internet without neglecting their busy lives in the real world, but somehow both ended up single for over twenty years.

When their elders and neighbors started urging them to go on blind dates:

One calmly fended them off, until she was forced to see a photo and recognized a familiar, handsome profile. Then she started looking forward to it.

The other explicitly declined, saying he needed to focus on his medical studies and had no time for love.

Song Shengsheng forces a smile, half regretful. "You can't make a sweet melon by force."

The matchmaker, Aunt Luo, is awkward and apologetic. "...All right, I'll keep an eye out for someone else."

Later, Luo Yishu accidentally discovers that the blind date he turned down without ever meeting her is the very person he's been secretly in love with for ages!

He immediately changes his tune: "I think blind dates are great."

Aunt Luo, who nearly succeeded in making her her goddaughter, can't help feeling relieved. "...Good luck."
