Tan Ziwei has had three great hobbies since childhood:

1. Fighting (crossed out), practicing martial arts. This hobby clashed with his frail, sickly body, making it a reckless way to court death. He didn't manage to die, though, and instead became an overnight star in the entertainment industry thanks to his impressive fight scenes.

2. Shopping. Unfortunately, he was born in a mountain temple and had to rein himself in.

3. Growing flowers and plants. While other children his age were snacking and playing video games, he was obsessed with flowers. When he went to college, he still loved flowers more than life itself. After meeting Ji Qingming, he began to suspect that this was fate.

A newcomer named Tan Ziwei has arrived in the entertainment industry. He's got a pretty good face, but he's a little too familiar. The moment he sees movie star Ji Qingming, he goes up to chat him up: Have we met somewhere before?

Ji Qingming's gaze is cool and distant. We're not acquainted yet.

Fans: Some nobody from the lower ranks, don't use our movie star to get attention.

One day in the future, when asked what their relationship is like:

Tan Ziwei takes the microphone and smiles. The movie star and I don't interact much.

Ji Qingming nods. Right. We mainly use our time off set to work things out.

An unscrupulous media outlet writes: Movie star Ji bluntly says Tan Ziwei's acting skills are worrying and that they need a long time to work things out.

Fans: For your information, movie star Ji started out doing martial arts films. He and Tan Ziwei are just practicing martial arts together. Get lost, marketing accounts.

CP fans: Am I the only one who thinks someone's emphasis is on the word "work things out"? They read all sorts of unspeakable meanings into that emphasis and wrote tens of thousands of words of fanfiction.

[Reading Guide]

1. This probably isn't a proper cultivation story. Some characters aren't human (literally, not as an insult), and most of it is everyday life.

2. Supernatural events are woven into the story, but probably don't make up much of it.

3. It involves past and present lives, and the story's view is that if the soul remains unchanged, it is the same person.
