The Game of Seeking the Dead

[Infinite Flow] + [Online Game] + [Survival]. Updated daily. Thank you for supporting the official release! (The couple's first interactions are in Chapters 10, 11, and 12. Most of the romance is in the interludes. The story is set in an online game and features lots of game content, including strategy, dress-up, and raising sims. [Handsome, mature, sickly wheelchair-using top x Looks wild on the outside and is wild on the inside, reckless, flirtatious bottom]

Xie Ying is a corporate wage slave just trying to survive in the cracks of the workplace.

He has to work overtime and take the blame.

After work, his only hobby is throwing himself into danger and courting death in the game world!

When the boss is eating, I flip the table. When the System talks, I chat it up. When an NPC opens the door, I hop in!

I work like a pack animal all day. What's wrong with going a little crazy after work?!

He especially loves teasing that mysterious, beautiful NPC with the gentle eyes who could kill thousands.

"Uncle, you know? You look a lot like someone..."

"The person I love."

Until one day, after he once again went too far and teased the beauty...

Xie Ying was horrified to find himself locked to a bed. The sound of wheels rolling across the floor was like a death knell.

"You've broken the rules."

The dazzling beauty with golden eyes and long hair spoke calmly from his wheelchair.

"Your crime is flirting with the guild leader."

Xie Ying: ?

That rule sounds like you just made it up.

Then it hit him: Wait!

If I'm trapped in the game, doesn't that mean I don't have to go to work?

Awesome!

Later, the whole server witnessed a miracle...

Xie Ying pushed the wheelchair while drifting with a ghost train, tore down a haunted house to build a sunroom for that boss, and charged through a zombie horde with a pea-shooter in hand. "Make way! My sunflower man will get depressed if he can't get any sun!"

What's it like having a "modern-day Yu Hua" as your underling? Ji Shu: Thanks for asking. He doesn't treat me like I'm disabled, but he doesn't treat me like a person either.

Sun Island trending topic: "The lunatic who managed to turn an NPC into his husband"

Player A: I-I-I-I saw that mysterious NPC big shot pin Xie Ying down in his wheelchair and kiss him today.

Player B: That's nonsense! Xie Ying was the one who climbed onto him!

Player C: Stop fighting, hehe. Whatever the case, there's definitely something going on between them!!

[Bonus Scene]

"The Proper Use of a Wheelchair"

Ji Shu: It's a mobility aid.

Xie Ying: No! It's a mobile tank / baby bus / vending machine / cat tree...

System, quietly: It's a sex toy (gets launched by the couple working together).

[Reader's Guide]:

1. The blurb includes memes and jokes. It is not meant to disrespect Mr. Yu Hua in any way.

2. Mutual strong feelings and a happy ending. They focus on each other, with no substitutes or cannon fodder.

3. The author treats everyone fairly and has no favorites. Every plot point serves the story itself.

4. Both are pure, cleaner than my wallet.

5. If you feel uncomfortable, please stop reading.

6. While playing, don't believe a word player [Xie Ying] says.

Here's a preview of my next book, Don't Dare to Listen:

Zhu Qianxing was fifteen when he brought He Xianggu home.

Fifteen-year-old He Xianggu was thin and could barely write his own name. He was also mute.

The poor, helpless little mute stared with pretty glassy eyes and signed, "Thank you, big brother," like a filthy old doll nobody wanted on the shelf.

*

Zhu Qianxing spent three years scraping together every last bit of money to clean up and dress the filthy little doll.

At eighteen, He Xianggu shot up in height and grades, but still couldn't speak.

The little mute was promising and well-behaved. He especially loved watching his big brother, his gaze fixed on him like a possessive wild wolf.

*

Most teenagers are rebellious, hard to manage, and full of energy. He Xianggu remained obedient and well-behaved. Zhu Qianxing worried that all that pent-up energy might make him sick, but on the night the little mute turned eighteen, he climbed into Zhu Qianxing's bed.

The little mute's gaze was deep and greedy, lazy with satisfaction. He breathed silently against Zhu Qianxing's ear and signed with practiced ease: "Thank you, big brother."

*

Zhu Qianxing raised a hand to hit him, but the little mute leaned into his palm, wiping away the unspeakable on his fingers. With a silent laugh, he mouthed, "Sorry for getting you dirty, big brother."

*

A long-suffering, softhearted bottom who has a hard life but still can't bear to hit the poor kid he brought home x a little mute top who has plotted this for ages and eagerly offers himself up to his big brother's slap.

My take on a bittersweet redemption story.

Here's another preview of mine: The Reemployed War God Raises Me Like a Pig: a starving ghost and a warrior chef.

Theme: Cherish life. Keep living as long as you can.
