The Cure for Me

Shen Junyu never had any grand ambitions. After ending her relationship with Lin Boyuan, she didn't go to the school he had arranged for her, nor did she leave the city he lived in. She bought an apartment and became a sleep-streaming host. That was what she was best at in those years. * When Lin Boyuan was young, he suffered from manic depression and insomnia, which made him sharp-tongued, cold, and irritable. Then one day, he met a girl whose clean, fresh aura reminded him of a handful of snow atop a mountain peak. Just looking at her soothed him. He thought: Would I sleep better if I held her while I slept? Four years passed. Lin Boyuan overcame his insomnia and set the bird in his cage free. * One day, a friend was watching a variety show in his office, a dating show disguised as a talk show. Pointing at the woman on the screen, his friend said with interest, "I like her type." Lin Boyuan looked up without thinking, then froze. On countless nights in the past, he had held her in his arms and slept soundly. After she left, his insomnia came roaring back. * He had an illness he couldn't shake, and only Shen Junyu was medicine for him. Both are each other's first and only. The leads have a ten-year age gap, secretly love each other, and choose each other in the end. The heroine is gentle, beautiful, and resilient. The hero is cold, bad-tempered, powerful, and devoted exclusively to her. Theme: Sometimes life is something one person faces alone, and sometimes it's something two people face together.
