The Bare-Bones World Tour is an unconventional travel reality show about wealthy families. Trust-fund kids travel the world on a shoestring budget, earning money through odd jobs to complete travel challenges.
Every guest is rich and influential, a young master or young lady sent by their family to experience life.
Sheng Qian is the only exception: she's genuinely broke.
Her family's company is out of cash, and her dad's been driven to the hospital by creditors, but they can't even afford his medical bills. That's how broke she is.
Sheng Qian has spent twenty years practicing cultivation, and has just returned from the cultivation world.
Unlike the heirs secretly competing with one another, she has no interest in taking on odd jobs to boost brand appeal or public favor. She just wants to finish the show, collect her three million in appearance fees, and go home to support her family.
Who knew she'd accidentally get bound to a “double your earnings” System?
System: For every yuan the Host earns through her own efforts, I'll multiply it tenfold for you, sweetie~
Sheng Qian: ??? You can do that? Let's go!
While working at a famous opera house, a rich young lady who'd mocked Sheng Qian for being uncultured played a nocturne, and the whole audience cheered.
Sheng Qian, a max-level music cultivator: I'll play the guzheng, flute, liuqin, and xiao, each with the most difficult piece. Boss, can I get paid extra?
While working at an elite fencing club, a rich young master who'd mocked Sheng Qian as a frail woman successfully took down a burly man who'd come to challenge the club, then basked in his triumph.
Sheng Qian, a max-level sword cultivator: It wouldn't be fair to fight you one-on-one. Everyone on the other side, come at me together. Boss, is there prize money?
While working at a Michelin-starred restaurant, the young masters and ladies stared helplessly at the ingredients in the kitchen, unsure what to do.
Sheng Qian, a max-level culinary cultivator: I can cook all eight great regional cuisines, and whip up dishes from anywhere in the world. Boss, do I get tips?
Director: ??? Everyone else comes on the show to gain followers and stir up drama between rich families. You're the only one here to make money and enjoy becoming a rich woman?
Netizens: ??? An internationally renowned music master confesses to her while on a world tour, an Olympic fencing champion comes all the way to learn from her, and a Forbes-listed billionaire offers an astronomical sum just to taste her cooking. Is there anything she can't do?
Sheng Qian: Come on, I'm just an ordinary wage earner. Pay me and I'll be a god of war!

#The director and viewers wanted to watch rich heirs tour the world on a budget, but I showed them what it's like when a down-on-her-luck heiress carries the whole show
Chen Zhou is widely considered the model heir in elite circles: handsome, steady, and successful at a young age. Everyone assumes he'll marry a virtuous, gentle young woman from a distinguished family.
Until he kneels before the famously spirited young lady of the Sheng family, holding out a diamond ring and roses:
“Qianqian, I've finally waited for you. All these years of hope were worth it.”
