After spending twenty years working hard in another world, Du Shiyi became a renowned young scientist in computer science, then traveled back to her original world.
Now she's just a recent graduate with a scandal-ridden reputation, about to appear on the hit variety show First Day on the Job, competing with other interns for full-time positions at a top internet company.
The show is all about elite academic competition, and every intern is exceptional: a national award collector, a game development genius, a legendary competition champion...
The only exception is her, a "thief who plagiarized someone else's paper and still refuses to admit it," whose name was dragged to the top of the trending charts by the whole internet.
Everyone is waiting for Du Shiyi, the academic lightweight, to embarrass herself on a show packed with geniuses.
But then...
In the first month, Du Shiyi excels in every area, beating all the genius students to take first place by a huge margin.
In the second month, Du Shiyi uses high-tech methods to prove her innocence. The villain who stole her paper and then turned around to accuse her becomes notorious worldwide.
In the third month, Du Shiyi contributes several cutting-edge achievements, shocking the computer science world again and again.
A major speed boost for cloud computing.
A leap forward for smart homes.
A high-end autonomous driving system.
A revolutionary breakthrough in holographic gaming.
Du Shiyi: ...I just wanted a full-time job. Is this enough...? There's more if it isn't.
Companies compete to wave checks at her and lure her away: Is a signing bonus of 300 million enough? There's more if it isn't!!!
Fans: Aaaaaah, this beautiful and brilliant girl is a goddess!
Haters: ...Is it too late to start calling you Dad?
When Du Shiyi discovers that her ex-boyfriend, Shen Yan, is the mentor for the interns, she is stunned. She can't understand why this aloof genius, who spends the whole year secluded in his lab doing research, would agree to join a variety show.
Until, in a grand auditorium beneath a sea of cameras, the whole world hears the usually quiet legend of computer science say softly:
"Research is the pursuit of my life, and she is the one I will always long for."
"She is the most beautiful poetry in the world, and the moonlight I will cherish in my palms for the rest of my life."

[Computer science competition story, from the school team to world champion]
On the first day Lin Long joined the school team, she met Dou Kaihang, the legendary figure of the competition circuit. The young man stood beside the coach and captain, all sharp edges, and sneered:
"You insist on picking a partner for me, huh? Fine. First, they have to be quiet. Second, they have to be trouble-free. Third, ideally, they can stay on my contact list forever without bothering me."
The coach drew a troubled breath. Just then, he spotted Lin Long and pointed her out to Dou Kaihang, trying to negotiate:
"How about this girl? First place in the freshman selection, and she's sweet-looking. She's not like those troublemakers from before. Don't bully her."
Dou Kaihang glanced at Lin Long, sounding impatient. "She's so delicate. Why would I bother bullying her?"
"If she can't last a few weeks of training and cries her way out, don't expect me to comfort her."
Later, as they advanced from the school competition to the national competition and then the world championship, the entire ACM community witnessed Kai's spectacular change of heart.
The genius boy, famed for his sharpness and arrogance, would blush at the ears only when he was around the team's beloved girl. Holding a milk tea, he coaxed her in a soft, pleading voice:
"An'an, could you not smile at him? I'm jealous."
Theme: Anything is worth looking forward to
In fact, the male protagonist is not as three-dimensional as these male supporting characters.

Excellent writing by the author Daka
Ohhhhhhh, Mrs. Do you know that you have actually lost your memory? You are my wife. We met and fell in love at first sight. We fell in love for more than ten years, lived together in the fourth year, and settled down for life two years later. With the blessings of our two elders, we became the best of Qin and Jin. However, something unexpected happened and you were killed by an adulterer just because you were jealous of our happiness and harmonious family. Later, you were abducted and there has been no news since. I am posting this comment today just because I hope you will know the truth. I hope you know that you who read this comment are my missing wife
