Ye Yushi is hot-tempered and unruly, a notorious young menace.
Everyone is afraid of him, except Fang Juexia, who lives next door.
She can't stand seeing him waste his studies and sleep all day. For Uncle Ye's sake, she has no choice but to rein in this wild horse.
"Brother Shi, we're street racing tonight. Experimental High School wants to humiliate us. You in?"
Ye Yushi tosses his phone aside and says carelessly, "I'm in. Anyone who doesn't go is a coward."
After school, a group of them is about to head out when, to everyone's astonishment,
Fang Juexia presses his head hard against the desk. Her voice is soft, her expression innocent. "You failed your exam, dummy. You're not going."
Dummy Ye Yushi: "???"
*
Fang Juexia and Ye Yushi get into a fight.
Ye Yushi gives a disdainful sneer. "Fang Juexia, I dare you to ignore me for the rest of your life!"
A day passes.
Ye Yushi pretends to be patient. "I didn't do anything wrong. There's no way I'm apologizing!"
Two days pass.
Ye Yushi starts to waver. "Maybe... she really can do it."
Three days pass.
Under everyone's exasperated gaze, Young Master Ye can't take it anymore. He quickly messages Fang Juexia: "Eastern Europe has changed dramatically. The Soviet Union has dissolved."
After a long while, she coolly replies with a "?"
Young Master Ye lowers his head and humbles himself, coaxing her good-naturedly. "The Cold War is over. How about it?"
Fang Juexia is deeply shocked.
Huh? After three days apart, Young Master Ye has made such impressive progress in modern history. So...
She decides to keep the Cold War going a little longer.
"Call for me with your summer.
Like a cicada calling to dusk, passionate and fearless, until the very end."
