My Bones at Your Bedside

Changed the trope, original trope: Transmigrating into a Book and Forced to Livestream ORZ Qu Jianqing x Yu Buchou A gloomy thousand-year-old ghost gong x an eccentric, hard-luck working-class shou After one shift, unable to put the unearthed artifacts into storage right away, Yu Buchou had no choice but to bring a copper coin and a finger bone back to his dorm. Out of habit, he hung his tool bag beside his bed, forgetting to take the human bone out of it. That night, Yu Buchou had a nightmare. In the dead of night, he felt a faint chill, as if someone were gently breathing beside his ear, or lightly tracing a fingertip down his back. He suddenly sat bolt upright, but the room was empty. Only moonlight spilled across the floor, leaving it deathly pale. The dream continued for four or five days, until the M230 cleanup was complete. That night, the nightmare grew worse. Yu Buchou woke drenched in cold sweat and saw a man sitting at the head of his bed. The man's skin was so pale it was almost transparent, and his gaze was cold and gloomy, yet touched with the faintest hint of a smile, as if he were enjoying Yu Buchou's panic. Yu Buchou's heart began to race. He could feel the man's fingers moving over his face, icy to the bone, yet strangely tender. He tried to push him away, only to find himself unable to move, as though bound by an invisible force. Amid the stench of decay, Yu Buchou heard the man lean close and whisper in his ear. Then he saw that the hand on his neck was missing a finger bone: "Why aren't you putting my bones by the head of your bed anymore?" Theme: Youth is devoted to archaeology, and its discoveries are given to the public.
