[Investiture of the Gods] The Empress's Self-Cultivation

A heads-up: A fox demon possesses someone at the start, then gets killed in retaliation.

Blurb:

Investiture of the Gods is a world ruled by "heaven's mandate."

But the moment I arrived, that mandate became a joke.

During the Investiture calamity, Daji's body was possessed by a fox demon, and her reputation was dragged through the mud for a thousand years.

Not a single god or Buddha in the heavens ever spoke up for her. One day, after seeing through the "world inside a book" due to her obsession, she returned.

"The immortals' calamities get passed on to the mortal world?"

"The mortal world is not the battlefield of the immortal realm. What do immortal fights have to do with us mortals?"

"If you need the faith of the people, then make an honest contribution. The land of Huaxia has no room for idle gods."

King Zhou: The beauty is right about everything!

Daji:

If grapes, a fruit from a later age, already exist, we should be able to find sweet potatoes and the like too, right?

Since immortals and gods exist, it should be fine to use their power to develop iron-smelting technology, right?

Esteemed immortal, I have a way to build up merit. I see that you and my Great Shang are destined to cross paths...

The bigwigs of the Heavenly Realm: Why have so many of our disciples been lured away?

Daji: The Heavenly Realm (wrong), a talent development center (right).

Daji: Today is another day of working toward a distinctive path of peaceful development and coexistence between humans and gods in Huaxia.

P.S.:

1. Nuwa has her own dedicated side story.

2. The story will include some elements from the Primordial World genre.

3. My take on Daji, my take on Investiture of the Gods.
