My Ex-Girlfriend Handed Me a Dating Contract

An unconventional second chance romance / Dating contract / Pretending becomes real

1.

When Lü Xinyi heard that her first love, Jiang Zaiyue, was recruiting a contract girlfriend after ten years apart, her eyes lit up and she eagerly signed up.

“Pick me, pick me! I'm an honest woman who knows you inside and out.”

Jiang Zaiyue wore a silk blouse and had long, wavy hair. She looked so dignified it was almost intimidating as she took out a pointer and laid down three rules for Lü Xinyi.

Rule one: The contract girlfriend must not overstep her boundaries.

Lü Xinyi: Mm-hmm.

Rule two: The contract girlfriend must not catch real feelings.

Lü Xinyi: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

Rule three: What's fake is fake. It can never become real.

Lü Xinyi: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

Later, Jiang Zaiyue failed to keep a single one of those three rules.

And Lü Xinyi was absolutely...

not an honest woman.

2.

Jiang Zaiyue used to think that the essence of first love was regret.

So when Lü Xinyi told her she loved her again, her first reaction was disbelief.

The sensitive, overthinking girl hid in a dark corner and asked, “Do you really love me, or do you just love the familiarity?”

Just like the first time, Lü Xinyi reached out and pulled her up once more. She took her hand, gently kissed her wrist, and smiled as she told her:

“Love is falling for the same person again and again, hundreds and thousands of times.”

Only Lü Xinyi knows that the dignified and composed Teacher Jiang

is just a little girl at home, secretly hiding away to cry.

[The following is the blurb for my upcoming novel, I Raised a Fox Queen]

Western fantasy + beastfolk + raising-sim game

At first, Xia Xi just wanted to play a simple game.

This game, called Queen Raising Project, drew her in with its pretty girl character. But what she actually found was a little fox girl locked in a cage, covered in wounds and starving.

Game: Want to spend? For just six yuan, you can become her savior.

Xia Xi: ... (her face clearly says no)

And yet Xia Xi: (treats the little fox's wounds) (feeds the little fox) (helps the little fox escape) (helps the little fox get revenge) (cuddles up with the little fox)

I didn't want to spend money, but I'm the one who can't help but go soft for her.

The Fox Clan was defeated, and their witch power was stolen. Once the clan's brightest jewel, Sara became a prisoner overnight. She had already calmly accepted her fate.

The strong survive, and the weak die. That was the law laid down by the Beast God.

But then a ray of light shone through. She told Sara that she would become the queen of the beastfolk.

If this is the will of a god, Sara thought, then I will carry out your will and become your most faithful follower.

So please, keep watching over me. Don't leave.
