Running Away with Roses

I wrote this book back when I first signed a contract. Um... the writing is pretty bad. Read it if you can, but don't force yourself if you can't. 🙏

[Male lead has a crush on the female lead]

Important, important!!! Both leads are inexperienced, with no exes.

Blurb:

The Song and Zhou families don't even live in the same building. You could say they're miles and miles apart.

But a fire brought their two families closer together again.

In front of their parents, they're simply good friends. In reality, the two of them have been carrying on in secret.

Zhou Sheng always finds excuses to go to Song Yimei's home to borrow things. The corner store is right downstairs from his own place, but he always takes the longest route and borrows the smallest things.

Song Yimei's advisor recommended her for a legal reality show. She came home to pack, then collapsed onto the sofa, exhausted.

Song's mother complained that she was always sprawled there without moving, and that one day she'd wear a hole right through the sofa.

Song Yimei had just finished complaining to him when someone knocked on the door.

Song's mother put down what she was doing and hurried to answer it.

"A-Sheng, what are you borrowing this time?"

The boy leaned against the doorframe, tapping his fingertip against his brow. His eyes settled on her, and then his clear, mellow voice rang out. "Her."

Theme: From now on, life has something to look forward to, and you'll get what you wish for.
