A faux teacher-student romance, with a twelve-year age gap
Gorgeous older Shen, a professor, VS cold-faced puppy Jiang, the young CEO
Blurb:
At thirty-two, Shen Qingchuan finally won the industry's highest honor, living up to everyone's expectations. Invited back to China, she became the respected Professor Shen. People were drawn not only to her stunning beauty and exceptional professional skills, but also to the romantic rumors linking her to a hugely popular movie star.
Jiang Ling was a legendary figure at Jiangbei University, the only person since the school's founding to top both the campus beauty and campus heartthrob lists. She had plenty of admirers, but had never once been seen accepting anyone's advances.
At Jiangbei University's centennial celebration and graduation ceremony,
Jiang Ling took the stage as an outstanding graduate to give a speech. During the final acknowledgments, her usually expressionless face unexpectedly broke into what looked like a bashful smile.
“I'd like to thank my teacher, roommates, and classmates for all their help.”
“Lastly, I especially want to say this to my girlfriend: I've been plotting to win you over for a long time. Thank you for choosing me, my Professor Shen.”
Coming next: The Snowy Mountains of Jingning
Blurb:
[Cheng Jingning has always believed she would marry Qin Zhaoyan.]
The thirty-ninth Golden Melody Awards came to a successful close. Newcomer Cheng Jingning stunned everyone by winning Best Female Singer of the Year, but at the most highly anticipated moment, she inexplicably failed to show up at the ceremony. The industry veterans present were all in an uproar, while press releases accusing her of acting like a diva flooded the internet.
Meanwhile, Cheng Jingning watched the livestream from an ambulance, then commented while spitting blood, “Tsk, I look so young and beautiful in this photo.” After saying that, she passed out from the pain.
When she woke up, the anesthetic still hadn't worn off. After dealing with the long-winded doctor, she immediately booked an online consultation with her family's traditional Chinese medicine clinic.
An avatar with the same design began to flash. A very polite message appeared: “Hello. How can I help you?”
Cheng Jingning lowered her head and spoke in a sweet, coaxing voice. “Doctor Qin, I'm in so much pain.”
Cheng Jingning had vanished from public view for two whole months because of an illness. Her fans were so worried that they bombarded her agency on Weibo every day, until one day, someone caught a photo of their idol patiently waiting in line among a crowd.
At a free medical consultation event hosted by the local community office, everyone there was an older auntie or uncle. Cheng Jingning, with her graceful bearing, stood out among them.
She pulled down her mask and opened her palm. “Doctor Qin, my wrist is swollen.”
Qin Zhaoyan touched her fingertips and said bluntly, “Tendonitis.”
“Oh, then how... Ah!” Cheng Jingning's expression changed, and her whole face scrunched up.
In just two seconds, Qin Zhaoyan pressed the swelling down, but didn't take her hand away. She hesitated, then said, “You... should practice a little restraint.”
Cheng Jingning's face burned. She wanted to disappear into the ground.
One day, someone posted on Weibo: “Hah, this world really is absurd.”
The fans laughed themselves silly.
Theme: The breeze never lets down those who keep going. If you persevere, your efforts will eventually bring good results.
After reading it, I objectively evaluated a book that felt like an average read. As a person who doesn't easily give up TV dramas, I had to give up the book several times. Let's talk about something surprising: 1. The plot is too simple. It feels like it is just a book written around the relationship between the two heroines. There is nothing else going on except falling in love. A person who goes to school but somehow participates in a variety show cannot write like this even if his second identity is a CEO. One is a designer. Apart from his hand being injured and not being able to draw smoothly, he wrote something related to this setting. 2. The plot jumps too far and has no logic. I'm not sure if it's because the request for changes was too much or the author made too many changes. This is also the main reason why I want to give up the book. There are many plots where the cause and effect cannot be found. I was inexplicably unconscious during a variety show picnic, and there was no foreshadowing. It felt like I was trying too hard to pursue the twists and turns. 3. The overall writing style is pretty good, but I still feel like I've used too much force in many places. And from the back, I feel like I have been rushing to make progress in order to open a new book. There is no follow-up addition to these unconnected areas. 4. I can't remember many of the surprising plots. The ones listed above are what I can remember now. Please read them at your discretion. Finally, I wish the author continuous progress in writing articles.
2. I finished it and watched it for the second time.
This article was well written and poked me at many points, but there were also some logical inconsistencies, such as the problem with Professor Shen's hand and the fact that she wanted to protect Jiang Ling. There were some misunderstandings between the two that were not resolved. But it was still very touching. Finished.
Read it in one go, spread the flowers
Finished spreading flowers!!!!!
The end of spreading flowers~enviable love~
Why are there no extras about Lu Linshen and Ji Yao? I haven't seen enough.
Can children be put on the schedule?
To be honest, it's really great for a first-time writer. It's so beautiful. It's all written in one go!
Not bad, not bad ~ wonderful and exciting ~ the story is full of twists and turns, I enjoyed watching it ~ ( ̄▽ ̄~)~
