The Little Matchmaker Ties the Knot in Infinite Games

Ye Yun is a Matchmaking God who has only recently taken up his post. He has a divine office and all, but still hasn't figured out how most things work. One day, he suddenly receives a transfer order. There are too many single ghosts in the Underworld, and it's seriously affecting their morale while they work in the Trial Grounds. The Underworld's big boss decides to improve the benefits for the ghost employees in the Trial Grounds. He requests that the Matchmaking God descend to the mortal realm and tie red threads for all those single ghosts, a.k.a. find them partners. Matchmaking God Ye Yun: ...Sure, I guess. He packs his things and heads down to the Underworld. * Ye Yun diligently ties red threads for all kinds of ghosts in the Trial Grounds, but along the way he discovers something horrifying. At the Blood Carnival, the amusement park director makes a heartfelt confession on the Ferris wheel. Ye Yun looks at the red thread connecting the two of them... Ye Yun, delighted and amazed: Is he my other half?! He's pretty handsome, too! At the School of a Hundred Ghosts, the principal lays out ninety-nine roses on the sports field. Ye Yun looks at the red thread connecting the two of them... Ye Yun, shocked and bewildered: Am I naturally a scumbag?! And I'm having a threesome, too?! On an ocean liner, the mixed-race captain presents a whole box of jade treasures and drops to one knee. Ye Yun looks at the red thread connecting the two of them... Ye Yun is speechless: Jinjiang doesn't allow poly relationships. Goodbye! The fourth time, the fifth time, the sixth time... When he finally completes the requirements of his transfer order and goes to resign to the Underworld's big boss, he finds all the people connected to him by red threads gathered in the boss's room... He's just a lowly little Matchmaking God. He doesn't want to be a playboy. Ye Yun turns and leaves. A certain Underworld big boss grabs Ye Yun by the hand and asks anxiously, his eyes full of longing: Where are you going? Ye Yun: I'm going back to fix the red threads. He looks at the red thread connecting him to the other man. He can't wait any longer. That piece-of-junk red thread must be broken! The man refuses to let go of his hand and hurriedly says: The red thread isn't broken! Ye Yun looks skeptical and points into the room: Then why do I have a whole crowd of them? The man explains quietly: Actually... they're all me. Ye Yun: ... He really wants to smash this man's head in! But he can't beat him... How infuriating. P.S. ◇ 1.
