Asking the Returning Traveler in the Snow

A rewritten version of Returning Home. Comrade Han comes back to his old stomping grounds, only to run into someone from his past before he's had time to prepare himself. No idea if there are tears by the bucketful, but he definitely loses his nerve first. As the saying goes, poverty makes a person lose their ambition. Han comes back penniless, having even pawned his most valuable possession, so all his grand ambitions turn into one thing: warming his beloved's bed first.
